Shayan Dasgupta Project Director  

Shayan has around 30+ years of experience in the industry out of which about 12 years in core Electric Utility Industry & 20 years in IT consulting. He has extensive experience in software pre-sales activities involving preparing response to RFP/RFI, crafting winning proposals by articulating competitive, differentiated value propositions & managing teams working on proposals. His industry experience lies in the Power Utility sector and his IT consulting experience spans across multiple services like Application Management, Application Development/Systems Integration and Project & Program Management.

Shayan played an active role in the quality journey of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has been a member of the SQAG and in this capacity has played the role of Project Quality Advisor (PQA) and External Quality Advisor (EQA) to projects.

Shayan started his career in CESC Limited, a premier private sector power utility serving the metropolis of Kolkata and its suburbs. He was in charge of the complete distribution functions and was solely responsible for the business performance of one of its six regional offices. This involved both engineering and commercial aspects. He had complete responsibility of customer life cycle management starting from energizing new supplies, metering, billing, collection, handling requests to closing a customer's accounts. Continual improvement in efficiency of operations, receivables management, loss reduction in the system and securing customer satisfaction through better quality of customer service were the primary indicators of my performance and contribution. In PwC, Shayan undertook multiple roles including SME (Power Sector), Systems Integration (ERP implementation), Power Sector IT Consulting, IT Strategy Formulation and Implementation, Project Management and Quality Initiatives. In Satyam Computer Services, he was GM in Energy & Utilities vertical. His key responsibilities included forming strategic alliances with leading Power Sector IT Solution vendors and developing domain competencies in the utilities vertical. In IBM India, he primarily worked in the Oracle service line in charge of account management across clients in multiple sectors and pre-sales activities supporting go-to-market teams across various geographies. His responsibilities included converting opportunities to wins by crafting competitive proposals with the help of a team of consultants.

Shayan is a postgraduate in Physics and PGDBM from IIM Calcutta.

Pradip Nag Co-founder QJ Consulting Program Management, Application Managed Services, Offshore Delivery

He has over 30 years of IT experience which includes, leading large multi-functional and geographically dispersed global project teams. He has started his career working on technology consulting and implementation of enterprise solutions. He has worked in various technologies, business consulting and management positions in PWC Consulting, IBM Global Services and KPMG. He has been associated with clients across industries in India, Europe, Far East and in the US and have lived in different parts of India and abroad for these assignments. Some of his key accomplishments are delivery project executive for Citigroup Corporate Information Technology Solution (CITS), delivery project executive for Virgin Media, AVAYA Communications, and Kasikorn Bank (Kbank) Thailand . Last few years, he has been primarily involved in Business Development initiatives in technology and other related areas.

Skill sets - Global Delivery Management in onsite/ offshore outsourcing environment, extensive Project/Program Management experience in managing and executing large, complex projects in areas of systems development & integration, application management services. He has been involved in both custom software as well as ERP projects.

Armaan Sandhal Associate Member. Oracle ERP, IT Development and Support

A solution-oriented professional having experience of consulting, analysis, design, requirement gathering and project implementations. He is focused on adding values to clients by revamping the on-going processes and maintain the relationship to achieve quality product and service norms by resolving their critical issues. His working exposure is in the industry sectors like FMCG, Pharmaceuticals and Real estate. He is dedicated on building core competencies by business case analysis and mapping it to solution for business users.

Skill sets - Modules of Oracle E-Business Suite and processes like Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Projects Costing, Inventory and Manufacturing. Multiple reporting tools like Oracle XML Publisher, Oracle Reports, and OBIEE. Oracle ADF, Oracle Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Reports. Databases like Oracle10g, 11g, 12c and Microsoft SQL Server. He follows Oracle AIM methodology for development and support documents.

Rituparna Bhattacharyya Associate Member. Data Science, Analytics, FinTech

Rituparna has been a hands-on practitioner in data science domain for the last 14 years, catering to finance as well as retail industry. She leads analytics for a leading international Bank's Customer Relationship Management Specialism which spans across the Globe involving stakeholders from various business domains like Business Performance, Marketing, Product & Proposition, Network & Distribution and Data & Information management. Throughout her career she has designed and delivered numerous business strategies for Retail Banking and Wealth Management using advance statistics and machine learning techniques. She has the pivotal role in driving the implementation of the above strategies and build global solutions through effective redeployments. She has an extensive people management experience over a wide range of functional responsibility across Middle East and European countries.

Skill sets - Design analytical models to assess the impact of changes to pricing, promotions, programs and products on marketing programs and business profitability. Develop analytical products, including exploration of ambiguous and complex data structure. Formulate strategies and drive process optimization through automation and standardization.

Asesh Sengupta Associate Member. Data Science, Analytics, Socio-economic development, policy research

Asesh has over 18 years' experience in the field of Business Analytics and socio-economic development catering to a wide range of industries and government sectors as well. He has quite a long experience to assess development and planning needs of diverse ecosystems. He has first-hand experience in working with international development organizations to design and implement data strategy for development research. He has worked as the lead consultant in designing some of the first of its kind management tools for unstructured processes which include agriculture based intelligence system, decision system for MSME, and Groundwater management. He has spearheaded evidence-based policy research to optimize the deployment of social infrastructure management solutions. He has worked extensively for government departments, with ICSSR, Media Lab Asia and other organizations in socio-economic development projects.
